One of her final remarks is timeless and I will close this month with it. She wrote, "Now, as the Hus Memorial Presbyterian Church approaches its sixtieth anniversary, we may look back at the struggling but successful voyage undertaken to bring it to the place it now holds. The years have been ones of many hardships but the numerous obstacles were met by a group of people who had a faith and hope in God strong enough to keep them struggling for their own place of worship. Through the efforts of these pioneers and those that have followed, many individuals have been brought to hear the words of the Lord. Another period is unfolding, but in order to see what the coming years hold in store for the little church, we can only keep our eyes to the future and our hearts and prayers to God."</P></FONT></FONT>
